The Wine
Neil Walker is a self-confessed wine-science nut, always interested in doing things differently. He's even aged wine at the bottom of the sea! He has also looked hard at the sustainability of his packaging, which has led him to this terrific paper bottle. It's made from 84% recycled paper, with a recyclable plastic pouch - much like a mini bag-in-box – and has a carbon footprint six times lower than glass. Most of all we love the wine that's captured in the bottle. It's pure Bacchus, named after the Roman god of wine and a star grape of England. Here it shines with wonderfully aromatic, floral, grassy lemony fruit. The design of the bottle perfectly captures the freshness of this white. Serve chilled as an apéritif or with fish or salads.
