The Beer
Brothers Dave and Keith Bott named this fine brewery after one of Staffordshire’s most famous sons, Captain Edward John Smith, born just down the road in Hanley, and commander of RMS Titanic. The Titanic Brewery, echoing its mighty name, has grown beyond all expectations from a humble start in 1985. It was formed with one aim in mind – to provide great beer using only the finest ingredients money can buy – and now produces over 2.3 million pints every year! This ale is brewed with American hops, Galena, Yakima and Cascade, known for their fresh taste, added to a combination of Maris Otter pale malt and fine wheat malt. It’s no surprise this zesty beer has won many a CAMRA and SIBA award! Tastes great with pan-fried salmon or lamb fajitas.
