The Wine
Superb 1985 port from Taylor’s, a firm with a reputation for producing arguably the finest and most ageworthy vintage wines. Their ports regularly receive 94 points and above from top critics. After that, the tasting panel decides whether the wine has sufficient flavour and structure to be a ‘declared’ vintage. Approaching maturity, the 1985 is one to savour.
