The Beer
Here’s to Steve Skinner. He dreamt of setting up a community brewery in Cornwall, and in 1997, on the banks of the River Truro, he did. He and his family brew groundbreaking golden ales such as Cornish Knocker and Betty Stogs (which many of our beer loving customers will already know). Countless barrels and awards later, the brewery may have grown but it remains very much a family business rooted in the local area. Lushingtons is a cool, hop-laden Pale Ale brewed using traditional methods. Bursting with bittersweet fruit, it has aromatic notes of lime and mangoes, and a hint of lychee. Take a sip and imagine yourself on a sandy Cornish beach as the sun goes down. Very versatile with food, or simply enjoy with just a few minutes of you-time.
