The Wine
Familia Zuccardi rank among Argentina’s most respected wine producers, winning ‘Top Value Brand of the Year’ three times from Wine & Spirits magazine and in 2016 a Lifetime Achievement award. back in the 1950s, Alberto Zuccardi started an irrigation company in Mendoza. In 1963 he planted a vineyard to show how his watering system could benefit grape quality, thereby writing himself into history and establishing Familia Zuccardi. Alberto’s son José now manages the business with grandsons Sebastián and Miguel. Sebastián is overall head winemaker, with Rubén Ruffo, with his many years of experience, in charge of this wine. The 2018 Santa Julia Malbec is a smooth, easy going and fruit filled red made for everyday enjoyment right now.
