Remoissenet Père et Fils Renommée Bourgogne Rouge 2017

We have a friendship with Remoissenet that stretches back over 50 years and are privileged to acquire small, limited parcels from their private cellars, the largest collection of aged Burgundy in the world. Occasionally Remoissenet take wine from several higher appellations and put them together under a simple Bourgogne label, which for those in the know, is always labelled ‘Renommée’ or ‘Renamed’. These are always exceptional value. Remoissenet’s historic cellars below the town of Beaune are host to an amazing array of Premier and Grand Cru wines dating back to the early 20th century. This appealing 2017 has vibrant red fruit aromas, with flavours of raspberry, cranberry and a hint of delicate spice. Ideal with roast garlic chicken.
