RedHeads Moonlighters Red 2020

RedHeads is a terrific, eco winery based in the Barossa Valley – solar-powered and big on water reuse, with a reservoir in the grounds to catch the scarce rainwater. They are great mates with some of the best growers in the premium regions of South Australia, so have access to some of the finest parcels of grapes. They’re always on the lookout for small batches that need a home. Moonlighters is, in fact, a special blend of red grapes, all discovered in the ocean-cooled vineyards of South Australia’s Limestone Coast. Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot skilfully blended to make a silky, lively, fruity style red – so good, it’s already been awarded a ‘Best Buy’, two Golds and 95 points. Great on its own, with pasta or playing host at a barbecue.
