The Wine
For fans of supple, ripe California reds, this delicious Pinot discovery is sure to hit the spot. What’s more, California’s 2021 vintage was said to be top-notch. Jancis Robinson described “greater flavour concentration” and “natural intensity” across all varieties. Pescadero Rock is crafted with perfectly ripe Pinot Noir from prime-sited vineyards in Monterey County. This region enjoys one of California’s longest growing seasons, giving grapes a longer ‘hang time’ on the vine, which helps them develop more complex aromas and flavours. Oh-so-drinkable, it’s brimming with ripe raspberry and cherry, soft baking spice nuances and a lingering finish. It's sure to please guests at your next dinner party, along with white meat, even fish dishes.
