The Beer
In 1846 Francesco Peroni set up his first brewery in the historic northern Italian town of Vigevano. Surrounded by the glacial waters of mountains it was the ideal place to create a clean, refreshing beer. But it wasn’t until 1963 that Peroni Nastro Azzuro was born out of the La Dolce Vita years in Italy. Carlo Peroni crafted this superior, lighter, even more refreshing lager from four key ingredients. Nostrano Dell’Isola maize grown exclusively in the Lombardy region, high quality water tasted daily by the master brewer, barley giving elegant malt notes and premium bitter and aromatic hops for crisp refreshment. All together they make the uplifting taste of Nastro Azzurro, filled with Italian style and passion. Chill down and enjoy.
