Here's a new Chilean red to fill your glasses. It's made from País, a grape much loved in Chile itself that's now making an impact on the world stage. So soft, fruity and easy-going it's pure bliss to drink. You can even enjoy it lightly chilled.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Introducing a new grape, País. We think it’s Chile’s best kept secret. So bright and full of summer berry joy, it’s recently made a breakthrough internationally. This one is from elevated slopes in the Maule Valley. There clear mountain air, plentiful sunlight and vine-friendly soil make the purest, fruit-laden País fruit. Ricardo Baettig, the winemaker at the award-winning Viña Morande Pelequén winery, fermented this red in concrete ‘eggs’ – very fashionable and ideal for making fruit-driven wines like this. Light in colour and positively brimming with bright berry flavour with a hint of liquorice, it’s a red with lots of immediate appeal. Critic James Suckling even awarded it 91-points. Enjoy solo, on a picnic, with cold meats.
