Ocho was founded in 2008 by Carlos Camarena, a 5th generation farmer and 3rd generation tequilero (master distiller) and Tomas Estes, responsible for bringing tequila culture to Europe. Both men won numerous awards. Their desire was to prove to the world that, just like fine wine, terroir has a serious influence on the blue weber agave fruit and the production of premium tequila. So Ocho was born and with their single estate bottlings and different ageing techniques, you’ll get a taste of top-quality tequila. 8 is a magic number for them – 8 years to ripen the agave, 8 days from arrival at the cellar to make tequila, 8 agave fruit to make a litre of Ocho and more.
