Lunatic Fringe is a star from Matetic, a winery that’s been listed in Wine & Spirits magazine’s ‘Top 100 Wineries of the Year’ four times! Nestled in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, they source their fruit from across Chile’s finest grape-producing valleys. The Merlot for this red was harvested from a small plot bordering the Pacific Ocean, around Lake Vichuquen. Surrounded by pine forests that protect the vines from the harsher winds, the vineyard also enjoys cooling coastal breezes, the combination of which is a microclimate perfect for bringing Merlot to full ripeness. With lots of bright red berry flavour, this red is great solo, or with pesto pasta or kebabs.
