The Wine
The Manzanos family have been grape growers for five generations, then in 2002 constructed a modern winery of timeless elegance at the heart of the Rioja appellation. Situated at the point where the Ebro and Ega rivers meet, it affords a wonderful view over this beautiful landscape. Following the recent loss of their father, brothers Victor and David (just in their twenties) now run the estate, with innovation and flair. The grapes for their fine Reserva were taken from 30 to 60 year old vines grown at 400 metres above sea level, which produce fruit of gorgeous richness and complexity.
