Le Fief du Temple Pinot Noir 2021
Vin de France

We're delighted with Noël Bougrier’s new release Le Fief du Temple, with a Gold medal for 2020 and 2021. It's all Pinot Noir, just like delectable (and pricy) red Sancerre. Classic Loire, with crushed raspberries, ripe red cherry and subtle spice.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
We've worked with the Bougrier family in the Loire for over 20 years and still they come up with some terrific wine surprises. The bright fruit of this Pinot Noir is just one. The family has dominated the Loire Valley for six generations and are one of the few cellars to cover the entire region, from Nantes to Sancerre. The current patriarch, Noël Bougrier, masterfully leads their award-winning operations, aiming to capture an authentic expression of the grape and its vineyard in every wine. Harvesting in the early morning, plus delicate handling and cool fermentation in the cellar ensure freshness and elegant fruit. Exactly what you want from a Loire Pinot Noir. It's a class glass solo or with charcuterie, chicken kebabs or soft cheeses.
