Welcome to Kitá Wines, an exciting new winery in the heart of Santa Barbara’s Santa Ynez Valley. It belongs to the Chumash tribe who raised funds to purchase the vineyard and put winemaker Tara Gomez through her oenology degree. Luscious and peachy.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
If you like the richly vibrant whites of the southern Rhône, you’ll love T’aya. It’s from Tara Gomez, a talented Californian who graduated from California State University in 1998. While working at some of California’s top wineries, Tara spent her holidays touring European wine regions. Eventually, her desire to master old world techniques drew her to France and Spain where for two years she honed her skills. Then in 2010 her tribe purchased Camp 4 vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley and Tara’s been there ever since. Planted on the fourth campsite of the stagecoach route from San Francisco to Yuma, the vineyard is home to Rhône stars Marsanne, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. Together they make this top match for crab salad or roast veg risotto.
