The Spirit
In 1865, cattle breeder John Grant purchased the Glenfarclas distillery and adjacent farm, for the sum of £511 19 shillings. It was ideally positioned, halfway between his other distillery, Glenlivet, and the Elgin cattle market. Six generations later, little has changed.
