It’s an exclusive cuvée made for us by the multi talented Julían and Javier Murúa, the father and son duo behind our No.1 Rioja Barón de Barbón. The family have vineyards and contacts throughout Spain, and with each vintage, Javier likes to cherry pick any spare parcels of Tempranillo to craft into lush, easy drinking Finca las Rejas. As you’ll realise from your very first sip, it knocks the spots off lesser ‘tintos’. Its irresistible soft red fruit flavours are lifted by a pleasingly freshness. Serve to good friends on its own, with tapas (garlic mushrooms or bruschetta), or chicken with roasted vegetables.
