Domaine Piron was founded during the reign of Louis XIII and today has 95 hectares of vines throughout Beaujolais' finest villages, a third of them in Morgon. Dominique Piron was the 14th generation to be in charge, but with no family to hand onto, he joined forces with a long-standing friend, Julien Revillon. Julien continues the heritage, with a vision to produce Beaujolais as fine and luscious as any cru Burgundy. He goes to great lengths to achieve this, in the vineyard and in the cellar. This is his vibrant Nouveau – delicious, fruit-laden Beaujolais, made for joyful easy drinking. You'll find it perfect with pâtés and cold meats, white meats or simply on its own.
