Domaine Piron was founded during the reign of Louis XIII and today has 95 hectares of vines throughout Beaujolais’ finest villages, a third of them in Morgon. 14th generation winemaker Dominique Piron has joined up with a friend from the appellation, Julien Revillon, and together they have a vision to produce Beaujolais as fine as any Burgundy. They go to great lengths to achieve this, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. This is their vibrant Nouveau – delicious, fruit laden Beaujolais, made for joyful easy drinking. From a vintage described as ‘legendary’, this 2018 is packed with juicy red fruits and suppleness. You’ll find it perfect with pâtés and cold meats.
