Champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Second Skin NV
Maison Ruinart has been quietly making exceptionally fine Champagne for over 250 years – their rare releases are jealously guarded by the cognoscenti.“Ruinart deserves to be better known” wrote the Sunday Times. Rich, toasty and long – a classy fizz.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Originally a Reims draper, Nicolas Ruinart started his first ledger devoted to ‘wine with bubbles’ in 1729 – testament to the estate’s claim to be the very first Champagne house. Ruinart survived two world wars, received investment from Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1950, and, since 1963, has been in the safe hands of Moët et Chandon. They aim to be more sustainable too, hence their beautifully embossed 'second-skin' packaging which replaces the gift box. Pure Chardonnay, all from Grand Cru sites, with 20-25% reserve wine, aged 8 years on lees, this is a fine vintage Champagne.
