Cabalié 20th Anniversary Coup de Coeur 2022

Parker-rated Hervé Sabardeil has been making our standard Cabalié for 20 years. It has become a massive bestseller, boasting thousands of customer 5-Star reviews. So to celebrate, Hervé has created this special Anniversary cuvée – a Grand Cru edition. The grapes are Grenache and Carignan again, but they come from some of the oldest vines and from the finest slate soils of Maury in the Roussillon. As you might imagine yields are minute, which accounts for the depth of colour and intensity of flavour. Hervé then aged the wine in oak cask to lend a luxurious layer of complexity. This is a powerful red, beautifully balanced and terrifically long. Plush black and red fruits and warming mocha spice, it is an exceptionally rich, smooth Cabalié.
