Barons de Rothschild Lafite Réserve Spéciale comes to you from the same experts responsible for Château Lafite Rothschild itself, a name “synonymous with wealth, prestige, history, respect and remarkable wines” (Robert Parker). We were friends with winemaker Charles Chevallier long before he took charge of the cellar at Lafite in 1999, and that’s how this exclusive cuvée came our way. The grapes were sourced from selected vineyards across Bordeaux. So while we can’t promise you the same richness and sophistication as Lafite itself, we can certainly promise the Rothschilds’ uncompromising stamp of quality. With deep colour, classic structure and elegant berry flavours, this is benchmark claret to serve with roast beef, duck or T-bone steak.
