Alessandro Gallici Prosecco Il Casone NV

Alessandro Gallici was born and raised in northeast Italy and loves everything about the region. He is the first in his family to become a winemaker and has shown himself to be a super talent. He makes us a few Proseccos, but he was so pleased with Il Casone that he has presented it in a very special, Venetian glass-inspired bottle. Its name is a reference to the traditional thatched huts found along many of the rivers and lagoons around Venice. Pure Glera, of course, the key Prosecco grape, it has intense lemony freshness, with hints of apple and pear, carried along on a train of tiny, creamy bubbles, with a long toasty finish. So beautifully presented, it’s the perfect celebration bottle.
