Delightful Burgundy from renowned 4th-generation winemaker Guillaume Camus, based in Savigny. It tastes way superior to its Bourgogne label, thanks to meticulous winemaking and prime, old vineyards. Fragrant red fruit and spice, with silky charm.

The Wine
Fine Pinot Noir from Guillaume Camus – a star of southern Burgundy. Wine Advocate wrote of him, "an excellent source for keenly priced, classically balanced wines." This impressive young winemaker spends most of his time tending the old vines on his estate, just like his father Lucien did, because ultimately that’s where quality is decided. This is the domaine's fine entry-level Bourgogne - an expertly made wine using some grapes from the estate's old Savigny vineyards to lend extra berry flavour intensity. A year's oak ageing adds the kind of complexity normally found in a 1er Cru and contributes to its appealing silky texture – the trademark of fine Burgundy. Exceptional value – savour with creamy chicken or wild mushroom dishes.
