Main
Salmon
A white Burgundy or lightly oaked New World Chardonnay. For red try a light Pinot Noir.
White Fish
A fresh, citrusy New World Sauvignon Blanc or a light, fruity Beaujolais.
Poultry
Depending on the sauce, we'd suggest a Chardonnay or fruity Chenin Blanc. Or look for reds with soft tannins and berry fruits like Sangiovese
or Tempranillo.
Lamb
A soft, rich Rioja is perfect, but a silky smooth New World Cabernet Sauvignon would work equally well.
Beef
A rich Bordeaux, spicy Australian Shiraz or vibrant Argentinean Malbec would be ideal.
Vegetarian
A soft Italian red would be great as would a plummy Chilean Merlot, or a medium-bodied Chenin Blanc.
